So usually we all think viruses affect only phones and
laptops. But the covid-19 virus has proven us all wrong, we human get affected
too. Even when we’re not robots. #staysafe
So most of us, our phones are already infected by a virus. But
we just didn’t notice. I’ll be showing you five signs that you phone MIGHT be
infected by a virus.
HOW TO PROTECT YOUR PHONE FROM MALWARE.
1.
Always download apps from verified sources like
google play store. Downloading apps from sites like waptrick is really risky. Don’t
say I didn’t warn you.
2.
Always install an anti-virus soft were, like
ESET mobile security..
SIGNS YOUR PHONE IS INFECTED
1.
On our first list here is “POOR PERFORMANCE” .
Since your phone is like a computer. Slowing down in performance is a sure sign
of a virus.
2.
New apps you didn’t install: it’s obvious a
malicious app is installing these apps to your phone, and they might also contain viruses too
3.
Reduction of battery: to some of us who leave
our phone at, let’s say 70% and come back to meet it at 67%. I didn’t say your
phone is infected, it just has seen better days. But if it’s like 70% and
reduces to 40%. Then your phone is infected.
4.
Too much data consumption: viruses also send and
receive data from their creators, so they need internet connection, which means
they need you data to. [BUT WHY CANT THE CREATORS JUST BUY DATA FOR THEM
SELVES??]
5.
Your phone contacts receiving strange SMS: It
can use your phone to send spam texts to your contacts and it can also lead to
your contacts device being infected too.
WHAT TO DO.
·
FIRSTLY, switch your device to airplane mode to
stop it from sending or receiving any data.
·
SECONDLY: Check your recently installed apps. If
you can’t remember downloading some apps, delete them.
·
THIRDLY, install an anti-virus app, and scan
your device.
So that’s basically what we have for you guys today. See you next time
